Three disciplines, one craft.
Below is the work I take on, the kinds of organizations I work best with, and how I structure engagements. The disciplines are different on the surface; the underlying skill — designing systems people actually adopt — is the same.
Enterprise Process & Adoption Consulting
The technical literature on S/4HANA migration is thorough. The adoption literature is almost nonexistent. I work with organizations on the human side of ERP and finance system implementations — discovery, fit-gap analysis, stakeholder workshops, and adoption strategy that survives go-live.
Most useful when: your organization is in the planning, blueprint, or hypercare phase of a S/4HANA migration; or when a technically successful implementation is meeting unexpected adoption resistance. Particularly suited to mid-market financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare organizations.

Enterprise UX Research
Mixed-methods user research for B2B, fintech, and regulated industries. I built and operated a research function inside AWS Fintech R&D supporting more than twenty product teams, with research operations scaled to forty-eight thousand panelists. That work is the template I bring to client engagements.
Most useful when: your organization is building a research function from scratch, scaling an existing one, or running into ResearchOps bottlenecks. Also a fit for one-off discovery, journey mapping, or workflow telemetry projects on enterprise software products.

Healthcare Human Factors
Two decades of peer-reviewed research on clinical workflow systems, surgical ergonomics, motion-based assessment of clinical training, and medical device usability. Active research collaborations with Allegheny Health Network, St. Vincent's, and LECOM.
Most useful when: your medical device, clinical software, or hospital-system program needs human factors expertise that's grounded in published research, not just regulatory checkboxes. Available for advisory work, regulatory submission support (HFE/UE files), and applied research engagements.

- Device Usability Studies
- Motion-Based Assessment
- Surgical Ergonomics

Speaking, Advisory, and Expert Witness
Limited availability for keynote talks, executive workshops, advisory board seats, and expert witness work in the human factors and enterprise software adoption domains. Past venues include the Amazon Fintech Design Studio and academic research symposia; published author with twenty-plus peer-reviewed citations and a strong publication record on motion analysis and surgical performance.

Three ways to work together.
I structure most engagements around one of three formats, depending on the depth of the problem and your team's capacity.
Discovery Sprint
Two to four weeks. Bounded scope. Discovery, stakeholder interviews, and a written deliverable that lets your team make a decision. Best for kickoff phase or unblocking a stalled program.
Embedded Engagement
Three to six months, part-time. I sit with your team through a defined phase — typically blueprint, hypercare, or research function build. Deliverables and meetings woven into your existing rhythm.
Advisory Retainer
Quarterly or annual. Standing access for executive advisory, written reviews, and on-call thinking partner work. Best for organizations navigating multi-year transformation programs.
